SCC Lumberjacks is a 13U and 14U travel baseball club for players from Santa Cruz County.

Our mission

Santa Cruz County Lumberjacks strives to provide a positive experience for players and families through the development of baseball skills, teamwork and sportsmanship.

While winning is not the primary focus, competing and striving to win are important parts of the program.

How to join

12U (rising 13U): Tryouts by appointment only. Please contact scc.lumberjacks.baseball@gmail.com if you are interested.

14U: Santa Cruz County Lumberjacks will hold tryouts for our 14U fall season on June 8th, 2024.

What to expect:

6 tournaments between August and October; most will be local (greater Bay Area) with the final tournament the first weekend in November.
2-3 practices a week

Team Fees

Team fees

The cost for Santa Cruz County Lumberjacks is $350/month during a season. The spring season runs for four months (February - May). The fall season runs for three months (August - October).

Uniform fee

Each family/player will be responsible for purchasing their own uniform kit, which costs $125 and includes multiple jerseys and a hat. Players provide their own pants, belts and socks.

Other costs

Other costs include travel expenses to tournaments. There are 6-8 tournament weekends in a season, mostly within the greater Bay Area. Families make their own travel and lodging arrangements.
